NEXT100 Winner Vijoy Basu takes on a new role as Senior Vice President & Global Head of Enterprise Data & AI at Firstsource. With an extensive background in the tech industry, Vijoy has previously held significant positions including Sr. Director and Global Head of IT AI & Analytics at Cognizant, where he enabled data-driven commercial decisions. His journey also includes leadership roles at GE, where he served as Sr. Director of Data & Analytics at GE Digital, as well as Program Manager and Project Leader at GE Oil & Gas and GE Power & Water, respectively. Vijoy’s experience is further enriched by his tenure as a Software Engineer at GE Industrial and his early career as a Junior Software Engineer at Kaashyap Radiant Systems and Programmer at DSQ Software Limited. He also contributed to thought leadership as a member of the Advisory Council at Harvard Business Review and as part of the 3AI Thought Leaders Circle.
