Shivank Bansal has joined BSEIndia as Deputy CIO.
In this role, he will help drive next-generation technology initiatives focused on AI-led market infrastructure, cloud-native platforms, and scalable digital ecosystems to support high-performance financial systems.
Prior to this, he served as Head Engineering & Architecture at IDFC FIRST Bank, where he led cloud-first transformation, platform engineering (Cloud, DevOps, SRE, Observability), and GenAI initiatives. He played a key role in building one of India’s top-rated mobile banking applications, deploying self-hosted LLMs, and enabling AI-first development across regulated environments.
Earlier, he was Lead Enterprise Architect at IDFC FIRST Bank, driving digital banking platforms and customer-centric transformation.
Before that, he held leadership roles at Jio as Head Of Engineering – Digital Platforms and Principal Solutions Architect, where he built intelligent, cloud-native, microservices-based platforms powered by data science and automation.
He also served as Enterprise Solutions Architect at Safexpress Private Limited and Head – IT Engagement & Solutions at Indus Towers, leading enterprise architecture, solution design, and large-scale transformation programs.
Earlier in his career, he worked with Emaar India, driving ERP transformation and Oracle EBS implementation, along with roles at MothersonSumi INfotech & Designs Ltd. (MIND), Wipro Infotech Ltd, Progressive Infotech Pvt. Ltd., and A Square Automation P Limited.
With nearly two decades of experience across cloud, enterprise architecture, banking technology, AI, and platform engineering, he brings strong expertise in building resilient, scalable, and future-ready digital infrastructure.
