Coforge, a leading global digital services and solutions provider, has announced the appointment of Raj Upadhyay as Vice President & Head of Technology Infrastructure. In this role, Upadhyay will lead the strategy, design, and implementation of the organization’s global technology framework.
Upadhyay joins Coforge with over two decades of experience in IT infrastructure, enterprise architecture, and large-scale digital transformation. His career is marked by a proven track record of leading complex global projects across major IT and professional services firms.
A Legacy of Strategic Leadership
Prior to joining Coforge, Upadhyay served as Vice President of Technology at EXL, where he was instrumental in driving technological innovation. His professional journey also includes a significant tenure at Genpact, where he rose to the position of Vice President of Information Technology, overseeing critical infrastructure design and team leadership.
Throughout his career, Upadhyay has held pivotal leadership roles at several global technology giants, including:
- UnitedHealth Group: Associate Director IT (Infrastructure Design).
- HCL Technologies: Senior Manager IT (Projects), focusing on remote infrastructure management.
- HP & IBM: Regional Delivery Lead and Service Delivery Manager, respectively, managing global network operations and large-scale delivery teams.

Known for his expertise in cost optimization and service improvement, Upadhyay specializes in identifying and rolling out cutting-edge technologies that align with evolving business demands. His experience spans 17 countries and 47 delivery locations, having successfully delivered over 30 large-scale global projects.
