In his new role, he will lead the organization’s cybersecurity strategy, information security governance, cyber risk management, regulatory compliance, security operations, and cyber resilience initiatives, strengthening Aditya Birla Capital’s security posture across its financial services ecosystem.
Prior to this appointment, he served as Chief Information Security Officer at Aditya Birla Health Insurance Company Limited, where he led enterprise information security, cyber risk management, regulatory compliance, security governance, and cyber resilience programs to safeguard critical digital assets and customer data.
Earlier, he was Chief Information Security Officer at Aditya Birla Insurance Brokers Ltd., driving the organization’s cybersecurity strategy, information security framework, governance, and compliance initiatives.
Before joining the Aditya Birla Group, he served as DGM – Information Security at BSEIndia, where he was responsible for strengthening information security, cyber risk management, and regulatory security controls for one of India’s leading financial market infrastructure institutions.
He also worked as an IT GRC Consultant, advising organizations on IT governance, cyber risk management, compliance frameworks, PCI DSS, and third-party security audits.
Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions including Senior Manager at HDFC Bank, General Manager – Audit and Assurance at Hexaware Technologies, Senior Security Consultant at Cybercom Group, Senior Consultant at ControlCase, Practice Head at Defigo Services, Regional Manager West and South and Product Channels Manager at Net Integrations Technologies Inc., and began his professional journey as Senior Sales Executive at Dishnet DSL.
With over 28 years of experience spanning cybersecurity, information security, IT governance, risk management, regulatory compliance, security audits, cyber resilience, PCI DSS, third-party risk management, and enterprise security strategy, Shrikant brings deep expertise in building resilient cybersecurity programs and protecting mission-critical digital environments across banking, insurance, financial services, and technology sectors.
