Bhaskara A R has stepped into the role of Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Exide Energy Solutions Ltd, where he will lead the company’s IT strategy, digital transformation, and technology-driven business growth. Based in Bengaluru, he will focus on building agile, secure, and future-ready digital ecosystems to strengthen Exide Energy’s position in the market.
With over two decades of experience in IT leadership, Bhaskara has successfully driven enterprise-wide technology initiatives, digital transformation programs, and infrastructure modernization. Prior to joining Exide Energy Solutions, he served as VP – Technology & GTM at Bluebird Technologies, and spent more than a decade at Carl Zeiss India, where he played a pivotal role in digital transformation and APAC IT service delivery. He also brings significant expertise from his earlier leadership roles at Essilor Group, where he spearheaded IT strategy and large-scale ERP implementations.
His proven expertise in IT infrastructure management, program management, and enterprise digital transformation, along with his strong leadership in building high-performing teams, makes him a strategic asset in steering Exide Energy Solutions’ digital-first journey.
