SISL Infotech Appoints Raman Pillai as Chief Digital & AI Officer

SISL Infotech has onboarded Raman Pillai as its new Chief Digital & AI Officer (CDAO), signaling a strong push toward AI-led transformation and platform-driven growth.

In this role, Raman will lead end-to-end digital and AI strategy, focusing on building scalable technology foundations, embedding AI across business functions, and driving measurable business impact. His mandate includes AI adoption, cloud-native architecture, data platforms, and fostering an innovation-first engineering culture.

Prior to joining SISL Infotech, he was associated with VerSe Innovation (parent company of Dailyhunt and Josh), where he served as Head of Cloud Ops and FinOps. He played a critical role in managing large-scale infrastructure for platforms serving over 300 million users, while significantly optimizing cloud costs and driving multi-cloud modernization.

Earlier, as Director IT at VerSe Innovation, he led cloud and data center operations, built high-performance infrastructure teams, and drove enterprise-wide FinOps practices to improve efficiency and cost governance.

Before that, he spent nearly six years at Ather Energy, where he built the IT and security foundation for one of India’s leading EV startups. His work included implementing SAP, PLM, MES, and analytics platforms, along with establishing DevSecOps and cloud infrastructure to support Industry 4.0 operations.

He also held leadership roles at Meru Cab Company Pvt Ltd and Motilal Oswal Financial Services, where he focused on IT infrastructure optimization, cost efficiency, and enterprise system management.

With deep expertise in cloud, AI, digital transformation, and cost optimization, Raman Pillai’s appointment reflects SISL Infotech’s commitment to building AI-first, data-driven, and resilient enterprise capabilities.
