Mitul Mehra has been appointed as Director – Strategic Alliances at EDB, where he will lead partner strategy and ecosystem growth to accelerate Postgres adoption across the APJ region.
In this role, Mitul will focus on building and scaling strategic partnerships, strengthening the partner ecosystem, and driving collaborative growth initiatives across key markets in Asia-Pacific and Japan.
Prior to joining EDB, he spent over six years at Red Hat, where he most recently served as Director – Strategic Partners APJ Ecosystem. He led partnership business across APAC and Japan, working closely with global system integrators to drive transformation and business growth.
During his tenure at Red Hat, he also led hyperscaler and OEM partnerships, managing alliances with major players such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, IBM, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and Cisco across India and South Asia.
Earlier, he was the Founder & CEO of Indiashopps, a price comparison and discovery platform with international expansion across Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
Before that, he held multiple leadership roles at IBM India Private Limited, where he led channels, analytics business growth, and sector-specific sales across telecom, energy, and utilities in global markets. He also worked with HP India Sales Pvt Ltd and Tata Consultancy Services in earlier stages of his career.
With extensive experience in alliances, ecosystem building, and enterprise technology partnerships, Mitul Mehra’s appointment underscores EDB’s focus on expanding its global partner network and driving database innovation through collaboration.
