Austin Gomes has been promoted to Senior Director and appointed as GCC Technology Leader at GIA Services Private Limited, marking a significant milestone in his leadership journey within the organization.
In his expanded role, he will lead technology strategy, IT services, and innovation initiatives for the Global Capability Center (GCC), driving digital transformation and strengthening enterprise technology capabilities.
Prior to this, Austin served as Director IT Services at GIA India Laboratory, where he played a key role in enhancing IT infrastructure, security, and operational efficiency.
He brings over two decades of experience across IT leadership, infrastructure, and transformation. Before joining GIA, he held leadership roles at Thomas Cook India, Blue Star Limited, and People Interactive, driving enterprise IT modernization and security initiatives.
Earlier in his career, he worked with organizations such as Arshiya International, Kalpataru Limited, and Asian Paints, building a strong foundation in IT operations and infrastructure management.
In his new role, Austin is expected to accelerate technology innovation, enhance IT governance, and support business growth through scalable and secure digital platforms.
