Simon Davies has joined Databricks as SVP & GM, leading Asia Pacific & Japan.
In this role, he will oversee Databricks’ growth strategy across the APJ region, strengthen enterprise adoption of data and AI platforms, expand customer relationships, and scale regional operations amid accelerating demand.
Prior to joining Databricks, he served as Regional President, Asia Pacific at SAP, where he led business strategy and operations across the region while serving on subsidiary boards.
Earlier, he spent more than six years at Splunk, including as SVP and General Manager APAC, where he drove significant regional expansion and market growth.
He also held senior regional leadership positions at Microsoft, leading Business Applications for Asia, and at Salesforce, where he managed enterprise business growth across Southeast Asia and Greater China.
Earlier in his career, he worked with Oracle, Citibank, and PwC, building deep expertise across enterprise technology, financial services, and consulting.
With nearly three decades of global leadership experience, he brings strong capabilities in scaling high-growth technology businesses, driving regional expansion, and leading transformation across Asia Pacific markets.
