Vishal Gupta has joined Voltas Limited – A TATA Enterprise as Head – IT & Digital, taking on responsibility for driving digital transformation, technology strategy and innovation across the organization.
In his new role, Vishal is a member of the Voltas Leadership Team and is responsible for the strategic direction and execution of digital transformation, with a focus on innovation, operational efficiency and organizational agility.
Prior to joining Voltas, Vishal spent more than 14 years with Godrej Consumer Products Limited, where he most recently served as Head – Business Transformation & Digital for India and SAARC. He led IT and digital transformation across the region, overseeing enterprise applications, data analytics, supply chain planning, IoT, web and mobility, and RPA capabilities.
Earlier at GCPL, he served as Vice President and Head – IT for international businesses across Indonesia, Africa, the USA and the Middle East, and held several leadership positions overseeing IT across multiple international markets. He also led ERP implementations, acquisition integrations and enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives.
Before GCPL, Vishal spent six years at Marico Limited, where he managed SAP applications and led the transformation of the company’s sales IT landscape. He began his career with Maruti Suzuki India Limited, working in IT strategy and contributing to technology roadmaps, strategic IT initiatives, solution evaluation and project management.
With more than 25 years of experience across IT strategy, digital transformation, enterprise applications, SAP, analytics, automation, IoT and technology leadership, Vishal Gupta brings extensive experience to his new role as Head – IT & Digital at Voltas Limited.
