Ageas Federal Life Insurance has announced the appointment of Suresh Karnati as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO). Karnati, a veteran leader in insurance technology, steps into the role to spearhead the company’s next phase of digital transformation, technological innovation, and enterprise growth.
Over Two Decades of BFSI Expertise
Karnati brings more than 24 years of deep-domain experience within the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector. He joins Ageas Federal Life Insurance following an extraordinary 21-year tenure at Bajaj Allianz Life, where he steadily rose through the ranks from an initial role as Team Lead to Senior Executive Vice President.
Throughout his extended leadership journey at Bajaj Allianz Life, Karnati held several high-impact portfolios, including:
- Senior Executive Vice President: Orchestrating enterprise-wide technology deployment and strategic digital frameworks.
- Executive Vice President & Sr. Vice President: Leading tech-driven operational efficiencies and scalable infrastructure.
- Technical Architect: Building the foundational software architecture and core digital capabilities that supported the company’s massive market scaling.
Earlier in his career, Karnati also served as Assistant Manager at Aviva India, further embedding his technical expertise in the life insurance ecosystem.
