Adani Infra (India) Limited has appointed Rakesh Dhanda as its new Chief Digital Officer (CDO). Bringing more than two decades of experience leading large‑scale digital transformations, IT strategy, and business‑process improvement, Rakesh will steer Adani Infra’s digital and technology agenda from the company’s Ahmedabad headquarters, accelerating innovation and operational excellence across its infrastructure portfolio in India and beyond.
Before taking on this role, Rakesh spearheaded IT and digital initiatives at Rossari Biotech as Vice President IT & CIO, driving enterprise‑wide technology strategy, automation, and advanced analytics. He previously served as Head – Digital Transformation (CDO) at L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering, where he delivered digital‑twin–enabled project management systems and IIoT‑based connected‑worker solutions. Earlier leadership roles at Asahi India Glass, Cairn Oil & Gas, ABB, Musashi Auto Parts, and PepsiCo further honed his expertise in cloud adoption, ERP roll‑outs, and change management.
Rakesh’s proven track record in aligning IT with business strategy, leading high‑performing teams, and leveraging emerging technologies makes him a strategic asset for Adani Infra as it scales its digital capabilities and continues to build world‑class infrastructure.
