In a significant push towards AI-driven financial inclusion, Roinet has signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding with the Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer at IIT Delhi. The partnership aims to co-develop and implement AI and ML-powered solutions to improve access to financial services for underserved communities and small businesses.
By leveraging IIT Delhi’s expertise in artificial intelligence and machine learning, Roinet will design and deploy AI-driven innovations, including an advanced underwriting engine for lending, an intelligent travel and ticketing platform, an AI-powered grievance redressal chatbot, and an advanced audio/video calling platform. These solutions will address key barriers in financial accessibility, ensuring seamless and efficient service delivery for end users.

To support these research efforts, Roinet will provide product conceptualization, infrastructure, financial incentives, and go-to-market strategies, ensuring a smooth transition from research to real-world implementation. Additionally, students working on these projects will receive stipends, mentorship, and potential long-term career opportunities, strengthening industry-academia collaboration. All innovations developed under this initiative will be jointly owned by IIT Delhi and Roinet, reinforcing their shared commitment to fostering deep-tech advancements in financial services.
