Gaurav has stepped into the role of Chief Technology Officer, India at Ernst & Young (EY), bringing his visionary leadership and two decades of product, engineering, and innovation experience to one of the world’s largest professional services firms. At EY, he is spearheading the modernization of the firm’s client technology stack—building cloud-native, AI-driven platforms that power digital transformation across tax, audit, and compliance functions.
Gaurav’s appointment marks a strategic milestone for EY India as it deepens its tech capabilities and embraces a product-led mindset. Known for building from the ground up, Gaurav brings the energy of a startup into the enterprise—actively hiring product managers, architects, and engineering leaders who want to innovate at scale.
His career spans leadership roles at Udaan, Flipkart, Trusting Social, and Kosmix, where he led complex product engineering, machine learning systems, and large-scale platform design. A serial entrepreneur and angel investor, Gaurav has also advised and invested in startups like Biryani by Kilo, Galaxeye, Rupeek, and Neuu, shaping India’s next-gen tech ecosystem.
