Bank of India has appointed Satyendra Singh as Chief General Manager and Chief Technology Officer (CTO), entrusting him with enterprise-wide technology leadership at a pivotal phase of the bank’s digital transformation journey.
In his expanded role, Satyendra will lead core banking modernization, enterprise architecture harmonisation, and full-stack technology enhancement across the bank. His mandate includes driving next-generation digital platforms, scalable infrastructure, and data-driven banking capabilities to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
A seasoned banking technologist with over two decades of experience, he has played a critical role in core banking migrations, enterprise technology upgrades, big data and next-generation data lake initiatives, and the rollout of digital loan origination and end-to-end banking product platforms with minimal customer friction.
Having begun his career during the early mechanisation phase of Indian banking, Satyendra brings rare end-to-end experience—from manual systems to modern core banking, analytics, and digital ecosystems. His leadership has consistently bridged business, data, and technology at scale.
This appointment reinforces Bank of India’s focus on technology-led growth, resilient digital infrastructure, and future-ready banking services.
