Firoz Ansari, a NEXT100 award winner, has joined Airbus as Head of Digital Infrastructure & Platforms, marking a significant leadership addition to Airbus’ global digital and technology organization.
In his new role, Firoz will be responsible for driving enterprise-wide digital infrastructure and platform strategy, spanning hybrid cloud, data centers, networks, digital workplace, IT service management, and resilient, secure-by-design architectures that support Airbus’ scale, complexity, and mission-critical operations.
Prior to Airbus, Firoz spent over six years at Enphase Energy as Senior Manager – IT Global Systems, where he led globally distributed teams and executed large-scale infrastructure transformation initiatives. His work focused on aligning IT infrastructure with business growth, improving availability and performance, strengthening cybersecurity and compliance, and modernizing platforms through automation and cloud adoption.
Earlier in his career, Firoz held leadership roles at Canon India, IBM, Wipro, and other enterprise environments, building deep expertise across IT service delivery, infrastructure operations, data center management, security, compliance, and large-scale transformation programs.
At Airbus, Firoz is expected to play a pivotal role in enabling secure, scalable, and future-ready digital platforms, supporting innovation, operational excellence, and business continuity across global operations.
