Viral Shah has taken on a new role as Director, Finance – Data Centre at Iron Mountain, strengthening the company’s financial leadership as it continues to expand its data centre footprint in India.
In this role, Viral will oversee financial strategy, planning, and governance for Iron Mountain’s data centre business, supporting long-term growth, capital efficiency, and operational scale in a rapidly evolving digital infrastructure landscape.
Viral brings over 18 years of experience across finance leadership roles in data centres, digital infrastructure, and technology-led organizations. Prior to joining Iron Mountain, he served as Head of Finance at Yotta Data Services Private Limited, where he played a key role in financial planning, budgeting, and scaling operations. He has also held senior finance roles at Turtlemint, Netmagic Solutions (NTT Group), and D-Link India Limited.
With deep expertise in management accounting, FP&A, budgeting, audits, and large-scale infrastructure finance, Viral’s appointment is expected to further strengthen Iron Mountain’s financial rigor and growth execution in the data centre domain.
