Ranjan Lokegaonkar has joined Zydus Group as Head – Digital & AI Initiatives (General Manager), marking a strategic step in strengthening the group’s digital, analytics, and AI-led transformation agenda.
In his new role, Ranjan will drive enterprise-wide digital transformation, advanced analytics, and Generative AI initiatives, enabling smarter decision-making, operational excellence, and innovation across Zydus’ business functions.
Prior to this, Ranjan spent nearly four years at Cipla as Head of Digital Advanced Analytics (Associate Director), where he led large-scale digital programs across manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, quality, and EHS. His work included building 50+ advanced analytics use cases, launching GenAI capabilities, running an internal analytics academy, and scaling high-performing analytics teams.
His career also includes analytics leadership roles at Accenture and ZS, along with early hands-on experience at Reliance Retail, giving him a strong blend of consulting rigor and industry execution.
With deep expertise in AI, GenAI, Industry 4.0, change management, and digital strategy, Ranjan’s appointment is set to accelerate Zydus Group’s journey toward becoming a data-driven, AI-powered pharmaceutical enterprise.
