Hinduja Group Limited Appoints Ramesh Narayanaswamy as Group President – Digital & Data Intelligence

Ramesh Narayanaswamy has been appointed Group President – Digital & Data Intelligence at Hinduja Group Limited, marking a significant leadership addition as the group accelerates its digital and data-driven transformation strategy.

In this role, Ramesh will lead enterprise-wide digital initiatives, data intelligence capabilities, and technology-driven innovation across the Hinduja Group’s diverse business portfolio.

Prior to joining the Hinduja Group, he served as Chief Technology Officer at Aditya Birla Capital, where he led large-scale transformation initiatives across lending, insurance, asset management, housing finance, and trading businesses. During his tenure, he spearheaded the development of a group super app, modernized data engineering functions for advanced analytics, and drove infrastructure and operational transformation programs.

Earlier, he served as Regional Director – Asia at HPS, overseeing the company’s regional business strategy and growth.

His career also includes global leadership roles such as Group Chief Information & Operations Officer at CIMB, where he led digital banking transformation and built digital banks in the Philippines and Vietnam, and Group Chief Information Officer at Singapore Post Limited, driving technology transformation across logistics, e-commerce, and digital services.

Earlier in his career, Ramesh held senior technology leadership roles at Standard Chartered Bank, IBM, Citibank, and Tata Consultancy Services.

With over two decades of global experience spanning digital banking, enterprise technology, and large-scale transformation programs, Ramesh Narayanaswamy’s appointment reflects Hinduja Group’s commitment to building a strong digital and data intelligence backbone for future growth.
