A Shiju Rawther has been appointed as the new Chief Information and Technology Officer (CITO) at CareEdge Group, where he will spearhead enterprise-wide technology strategy, digital innovation, and transformation initiatives.
Dr. Rawther brings extensive experience in IT leadership, product development, and digital transformation across financial services and fintech ecosystems. Prior to this role, he served as Head – IT at SBI Mutual Fund, driving large-scale technology initiatives and modernization efforts.
He has also previously held leadership roles including CITO at CARE Ratings and CIO at Poonawalla Fincorp, where he played a key role in advancing digital lending, enterprise systems, and technology-led business growth.
Earlier in his career, he contributed significantly to organizations such as IIFL and TransUnion CIBIL, building expertise in software development, IT governance, and scalable technology platforms.
In his new role at CareEdge Group, Dr. Rawther is expected to focus on strengthening digital capabilities, enhancing data-driven decision-making, and enabling technology-led business innovation across the organization.
