Ravi Kumar has been appointed as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Trianz.
In this role, he will lead Trianz’s global technology vision, AI-first innovation strategy, cloud transformation, platform engineering, cybersecurity, and enterprise technology initiatives, helping customers accelerate digital transformation through next-generation platforms and intelligent automation.
Prior to this appointment, he served as Fractional CTO and Executive Partner – Strategic Advisory, where he advised global enterprises and leading technology service providers on cloud-first strategies, AI transformation, cybersecurity, regulatory governance, Global Capability Center (GCC) scaling, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), FinOps, and platform-led operating models.
Earlier, he was Sr. EVP & Head of Technology | Enterprise Cloud, Data, Platforms & Cyber Strategy at Kotak Mahindra Bank, where he led enterprise cloud, infrastructure, platform engineering, cybersecurity, and data strategy. He drove board-level technology transformation, established Centers of Excellence, implemented enterprise FinOps, and strengthened cyber resilience through secure-by-design technology frameworks.
Before that, he served as Senior Director – Head of Engineering | Group Cloud, Platforms & Data Strategy at Ola, leading cloud strategy, platform engineering, enterprise data ecosystems, governance, compliance, and engineering transformation across the group’s mobility, electric vehicle, and financial services businesses.
Earlier, he spent four years with Trianz as Director & Cloud Practice Leader | Platform Strategy & CoE (EMEA & APAC), where he led the Cloud & Platform business across multiple regions, established the Cloud Center of Excellence, advised Fortune 500 enterprises on modernization strategies, and drove large-scale cloud transformation initiatives.
He also held senior technology leadership positions at Target, NVIDIA, EMC, Microsoft, Cognizant Technology Solutions, and Candor Solutions, where he led enterprise cloud architecture, platform engineering, storage modernization, DevOps adoption, AI and high-performance computing infrastructure, application modernization, and large-scale enterprise transformation programs.
With nearly two decades of experience spanning AI, cloud computing, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, platform engineering, DevOps, FinOps, and digital transformation, he brings deep expertise in building resilient, scalable, and AI-driven technology ecosystems for global enterprises.
